Spawn appeared very briefly in #1 and failed to appear in the storyline of the second issue. For an Image crossover edition, Spawn's contribution is rather limited. He did appeared however on the cover and on the centre-page pinup (above image on right).

The moody Spawn appeared again very briefly in an encounter with Shadowhawk in this third issue.

Again, Spawn's contribution is minimal to the extreme. In the final issue, his only appearance is in the image above, looking pensive as the Martians depart.
Curse of the Spawn #9

Angela was featured in a 3-issue arc starting with #9 in May 1997. This Alan McElroy's story is acknowledged as an integration with the main series through Spawn #62.
Spawn: Movie Adaptation

In line with the first and only (thus far) Spawn movie is the publication of this 42-page comic. We learned through both the movie and this adaptation that Cogliostro the Spawn is a 15th century assassin.

Okay, this is about comics but I got to include the novel written by Rob MacGregor in this list. Words, after all, can be more illustrative than a graphic novel...although in this case, the novel was generally panned by critics.
Warrior Nun Areala and Glory #1

Thanks to 'tablehead' from Spawn message board who alerted me of the presence of a Spawn in this crossover between Warrior Nun Areala and Glory. The writer parodied Todd McFarlane and Spawn. The Spawn in question is Rod McLarsen the Demonspawn who become a rich and powerful comics writer after selling his soul to Gorath.

No Name #0

No Name is an Italian comic written by Davide Barzi and illustrated by Oskar. There are five issues, #0 was released in 1997 whilst the rest appeared between 2000 and 2004. In an interview in April 2001 with John Scalambra (stradanove.net), Barzi acknowledged that this is a clear parody of Spawn. The series is intended as a parody of superheroes and the title is taken from the name of the main character, a Japanese superhero named Masakatsu no Name.
Masakatsu no Name, an aspiring superhero was killed in his very first mission and returned from the dead to start an adventures spoofing superheroes. Oskar, who list McFarlane as one of two artists that inspires him has the main character attired with lots of chain and long long cape.
